Former Care Centre near Appleby Sold

A former care centre at Bolton near Appleby has been sold through joint agents Mere Commercial and Arnison Heelis. Croft House and adjoining barns was converted in the 1990’s to provide a main residence with self catering cottages. It was subsequently acquired in 2004 by the owners of Eden Grove School as an annexe providing additional accommodation for young adults with learning disabilities. In recent years the property was vacated and acquired by a private buyer at auction who has now sold it on to a local farming family. It was on the market at a guide price of £375,000.
