Lake District Food-Pub Lease Sold

The lease of the Sportsman Inn at Troutbeck, near Penrith has been sold through Mere Commercial. The Sportsman is one of the most prominent destination food pubs in the Lake District overlooking the A66 and has extensive dining and spacious rustic bar areas. The lease had been in the hands of the Loftus family since 2011 and the new proprietors are Andy and Samantha Scott.
