Shops Let in Penrith

3rd August, 2017

Two town centre shops have been let in Penrith through Mere Commercial. 12 Devonshire Street in the narrows has been taken over by Greg Stanislawski as a showroom and outlet for disability aids. On the other side of the street, Keeley Moore has taken a lease of number 19, the former Country Basket premises and is opening a new wedding dress and accessory shop. Country Basket have integrated their business within their existing Country Home store in Burrowgate. Duncan Young of Mere Commercial commented “these lettings and other interest in shops in the town is quite encouraging. After a difficult market for a number of years, things seem to be picking up in the town.”
